NYC Fifthdom! Monday night, 6pm, Fifth-adjacent Nick Gillespie is interviewing Kat Rosenfield for the Reason Speakeasy. $10 https://reason.org/events/katrosenfield/
*I have my tix and look like my photo if anyone winds up going and wants to have an awkward exchange
Spotify playlist- cool stuff. Extra points for including When Jokers Attack (what a great guitar line).
In people who died in January music news- y’all should pour one out for the late great Screaming Trees bassist, Van Conner. No sarcasm from me here at all- they’re one of my favorite bands. Sad news.
“Hyperactive, almost nebbishy, maybe slightly an acquired taste” - this is plagiarism, as I’m positive it was lifted directly from a text my girlfriend wrote to her parents when they asked, “so tell me about that new guy you’re dating”
Great playlist Matt! I was weirdly listening to a lot of the same stuff back then. (Listened to that Beck album incessantly) Got the Swan sisters on there too.
Not sure what kind of voodoo trick Airmail are playing here, publishing engrossing and believable articles with lots of warts and lots of alls about disgraced public figures like Armie Hammer or Stephen Glass, which were not written by dark side roaming celebrities and fumbling fabulist fantasists, but instead brought to us by those who understand that while you can balance points of views equally on a scale, that scale can be positioned on hills of varying degrees of slopeness that sometimes by sheer force of natural gravity will tend towards a view that like sands through the hourglass so are the days of our lives lived in ever shifting weighted ways rather than in perpetually morally clear balance, but also by writers of enough clarity who will recognise that some truths need to be explicitly stated, for example I would hope, that while libertarians may be superheroes or even ninjas to some, they are best when masked. Thank you.

Matt was robbed! Also, Moynihan, please stop looking so deep into my soul.
This erasure of Nick Gillespie as the predominate sex symbol within the libertarian community is a gross injustice.

Dig Van’s bass work in this tune-

I enjoyed the pointed assurance that Robby Soave was of legal age in that photo.

No Matt Welch? List is poop.
Moynihan’s nebbishness is super hot.
I always assumed that (apart from you three guys) all libertarians looked like this: https://www.lp.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Supreme.jpg
Now I'm a bit disappointed and a bit horny.
I think that hot tub Stossel shot has put my penis into hibernation for at least a week—Yikes!
I don't know what they need with 25 anyway, it starts with Kmele Foster, and it ends with Kmele Foster, simple system.
Moynihan - ACQUIRED TASTE? need comments please.
No homo here, but I was surprised Mark Pellegrino, who played "Lucifer" in the TV series "Supernatural" didn't make the list.
That list is great, mostly because it says it's in no particular order, then literally orders them.

re: 29 hottest libertarian men.
Huh... maybe I *don't* want to date a libertarian. Congratulations to Moynihan and Kmele!!!!! Matt, you're an honorary in my heart <3
Also, how did Nick Gillespie not make the list?
