Interesting that this took place at Penn, which recently had a pro-Palestinian conference full of guest speakers who supported terrorism and one who had tweeted "Are most Jews evil? Of course they are." Also Roger Waters, who was the subject of a recent documentary cataloging his history of antisemitism.
When confronted about it the Penn administrators said "free speech and academic freedom bro, nothing we can do about it."
The lesson here? If you want to go after a minority group while guaranteeing your college will give you a platform, there's really only one option.
Kmele’s brought up twice the anecdote of his marriage counselor attacking him on his heretical views. Of all the insane stuff that’s been talked about on the show, this gets under my skin more than most.
I’ve been around too many “healers” who are really just proselytizers to be able to cope with that perversion of purpose. I know there are good therapists out there, but I can’t imagine having enough confidence in the industry to avail myself of a shrink again.

The kids (or rather a loud angry minority) are somehow running things now. I guess it’s all in The Coddling of the American Mind. Especially the student from Bangladesh: That’s exactly why progressivism so so backwards and maladaptive in current times. She’s ‘supposed’ to think A because she’s B race. That’s racist. Hard stop. And the professors: I just gotta say it: What a buncha PUSSIES.

Thank you for posting this audio! I work at one of the worst offending universities (in FIRE's bottom 4), and FIRE is doing work that no one else wants to touch. I'm leaving for greener pastures soon but it's still distressing to me - encouraging to hear from students that are engaged. We have had several that have stood up to the administration but they're only around for a few years and momentum can be lost quickly.
