I would recommend the new A Special Place in Hell Episode, too. Such an interesting convo with the Race to Dinner creators! https://youtu.be/vxeGmvpTsus

i found myself agreeing a lot more with a lot of Regina's point, but Saira struck me as a total ideologue.

Sometimes it Snow in April is my favorite Prince song. Matt, we could be friends. Also I am VERY drunk (Maker’s Mark).

Megyn was unreasonable at times with all of you, particularly Matt. When her show first came out, I listened regularly but she has morphed back into a partisan hack in the past year or so. I think it hurts your brand going on regularly as you don’t challenge her nearly enough. Tucker is one of her closest friends (which is very telling.) Have you listened to episodes she had him on?

Agreed. I like a good Megyn rant but she's become vitriolic and trans obsessed. Also she doesn't seem to know Matt's last name. She calls him "Matt Welsh".

I couldn't get past "God Bless James O'Keefe" several appearances back.

Her latest episode is a full throated defense of Tucker Carlson. She’ll dish out whatever her audience wants to hear.

I think they should be on the Megyn Kelly once a week. I think it is 100% on FIRE brand.

It is interesting how Carlson elicits such vitriol, when online there are so many personal testimonies of Carlson’s extreme acts of anonymous kindness. Loyalty to one’s friends, especially when half the country wants to put him in jail for merely existing, is exactly the character trait that used to elicit respect and admiration. Then our brains got hijacked by ideologues.

Opinions are like assholes; everybody has one & they usually stink (including mine).

In EU & Canada they are putting in place draconian content moderation (censorship) policies on all the social media platforms. Here’s hoping Yanks reject all calls for censorship and the boys continue to appear on everything from Meghan Kelly to CNN.

I've never been prouder to be a Cornell alumnus (Go Big Red!) When Harvard rejected me for being an Asian who got a single question wrong on the SAT, Cornell was there to wipe my tears and say, "We're in the Ivy League, too, you know."

As with Michael's experience at UMass, the experience of being surrounded on campus by a monoculture of absolute lunatic left-wingers nudged me toward the centrist libertarianism I espouse today.

After Matt’s attack on Borovička I have to agree with Megyn.

I really enjoyed the discussion of Ezra Klein and gained new insight into Matt's perspective. I have a new appreciation for the depth at which you understand the news/opinion business.

That said, I did not pay much attention to Ezra until his debate with Sam Harris. I read Vox back when it was tolerable and took note of him when he appeared on Bill Maher as the stand in for "aggressive centrist." His wonkyness struck me more as "well, akshually" reply schtick.

It wasn't until I heard his debate with Sam Harris that I really formed an opinion of him. I am quite familiar with the Bell Curve and took a college seminar on the book when it came out (it is amazing to think that such controversies were embraced on campus....) I am also familiar with the Sam Harris episode in question, which consisted merely of a polite discussion of Murray's work, which is not actually controversial within the field of intelligence. In the debate, Ezra comes off as an insufferable weasel that never actually grapples with Sam beyond smears and "here is what I think you really think" sort of rhetoric. I do not think he is nearly as smart as he is portrayed and at best is merely intellectually dishonest.

In any event, I enjoyed the discussion and have found a new podcast for my list.

Is Ezra Klein actually handsome? He’s always reminded me of Jared from Subway.
